INGREDIENTS

10 oz Mini-Marshmallow Puffs 미니 마시멜로 퍼프

3 Tablespoons 큰술 Salted Butter 버터 (🌱Vegan: Soy Butter)

6 Cups 컵 Jolly Pong 죠리퐁


Optional Toppings 고명

Sliced Almonds 슬라이스 아몬드

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

Step One

Preheat a large pot on HIGH heat for 1 to 2 minutes. Then lower the heat to MEDIUM. Add the butter and stir until it is completely melted.

  • 3 Tablespoons 큰술 Salted Butter 버터

Step Two

Add the mini marshmallow puffs to the pot, and stir until there are no lumps. Make sure to constantly scrape the bottom of the pot with your spatula. The melted marshmallow needs to be smooth. The stove heat remains at MEDIUM.

  • 10 oz Mini-Marshmallow Puffs 미니 마시멜로 퍼프

Step Three

Add Jolly Pong to the melted marshmallow. Lowe the stove heat to LOW. This is when you need to be super quick to mix up the Jolly Pong so the melted marshmallow is evenly distributed and coating the snack. Using a large pot is highly recommended so you can freely move the Jolly Pong around the pot so you can quickly mix the melted marshmallow with Jolly Pong.

  • 6 Cups 컵 Jolly Pong 죠리퐁

Step Four

Using an 8" x 8" baking pan or any small pan, add a sheet of parchment on the pan. Then quickly add all the marshmallow Jolly Pong on the parchment paper. Then add another sheet of parchment paper on to of the marshmallow Jolly Pong. Quickly, press down on the parchment paper to shape and push the marshmallow Jolly Pong so it is shaped into the pan. Gently push down, using your hands, to fill in all the corners. Then quickly add some sliced almonds on top. Then cover with the parchment paper to gently press down so the sliced almonds stick to the marshmallow Jolly Pong. (This shaping process needs to happen quickly before the melted marshmallow cools down.) Now, let it rest for 15 minutes or so.


Step Five

Once the marshmallow Jolly Pong in the baking pan has cooled down, lift the bottom parchment paper, to remove it out of the pan. Now the shaped marshmallow Jolly Pong should stand on its own. Drizzle some chocolate sauce on top. TIP: Using a spoon, pick up the sauce and let it fall from the tip of the spoon. Once you see a thin line falling off the spoon, go back and forth on top of the marshmallow Jolly Pong to add thin strips of the chocolate sauce. Then cut the marshmallow Jolly Pong into squares and enjoy!


My kids love this Jolly Pong marshmallow treats! I love it, too, with a hot cup of Joe, especially as an afternoon pick-me-up treat.
