RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the scallions in half (length wise). Then cut the scallions into long strips, cutting at a biased angle.

Now, if you want to have these scallion strips curl, then soak them in cold water for about 5 minutes. Then use a salad spinner to dry them. Personally, I do not soak my scallions strips in cold water. I use the scallion strips as is.
Place the scallions strips into a bowl.
Simple Scallion Salad
Add the following ingredients and mix well using your hands.
1 Pinch 꼬집 Salt 소금
1 Pinch 꼬집 Black Pepper 후추
2 Pinches 꼬집 GoChuGaRu 고춧가루
2 Pinches 꼬집 Sesame Seed Salt 깨소금
1.5 Tablespoons 큰술 Brown Rice Vinegar 현미식초
1.5 Tablespoons 큰술 Sesame Oil 참기름
This salad is best enjoyed when eaten right away. After about 15 minutes, the scallions will wilt, but I still think it is delicious, regardless of wilted or not. If you keep it overnight in the fridge, it will wilt more and create some liquid. Again, it is still delicious extra wilted in its juices. I add it to my simple bibimbap with warm Korean rice, sesame oil, chopped up kimchi, and some GoChuJang. All mixed up, it is divine!

Add the scallion strips in a mixing bowl, and add the following ingredients:
5 Scallions 쪽파 (60 Grams)
½ Kirby Cucumber 오이 (100 Grams), cut into slices
¼ Red Onion 빨간양파 (30 Grams), thinly slices
3 Mini Sweet Bell Pepper(80 Grams), remove seeds & cut into thin strips
2 Pinches 꼬집 Salt 소금
2 Pinches 꼬집 Black Pepper 후추 (¼ Teaspoon 작은술)
4 Pinches 꼬집 GoChuGaRu 고춧가루
4 Pinches 꼬집 Sesame Seed Salt 깨소금
3 Tablespoons 큰술 Brown Rice Vinegar 현미식초
3 Tablespoons 큰술 Sesame Oil 참기름
¼ Teaspoon 작은술 Beef Dashida 소고기 다시다 or YonDu 연두 (optional)
Mix well using your hands.
